How we work with partners
Some links on LifeAbroadGuide are partner links. Here is how they work, how we choose partners and what that means for you.
Some guides link to companies such as blocked account providers, banks or insurers through partner (affiliate) links. If you sign up through one of these links, the company may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as everyone else.
How to recognise a partner link
Every partner link is marked Partner next to the link text, and every guide that contains one says so at the top.
What partner links never change
- What we recommend. We write a guide first and look for partner programmes afterwards. If a provider without a partner programme is the better choice for you, we say so.
- Our figures. Fees and conditions come from the provider's own pages and official sources, and we link them.
- Your data. Partner links tell the company that you came from our site. We do not pass on your name or email address.
Why we use them
The guides, tools and newsletter are free. Partner commissions help pay for hosting and for the hours spent checking every guide when rules change.
